SINGAPORE - Deputy Speaker of Parliament Lim Biow Chuan is leading a delegation of 11 Members of Parliament (MPs) to attend an Asean meeting in Manila, the Philippines, from Thursday (Sept 14) to next Wednesday.

The theme of the 38th General Assembly of the Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) is "AIPA and ASEAN: Partnership for Inclusive Change".

Asean parliamentarians will exchange views on regional and international issues of political, economic, social and cultural importance to South-east Asia at the meting.

The MPs in the Singapore delegation are:

- Dr Teo Ho Pin (Bukit Panjang SMC)

- Mr Lee Yi Shyan (East Coast GRC)

- Dr Lim Wee Kiak (Sembawang GRC)

- Mr Ang Hin Kee (Ang Mo Kio GRC)

- Ms Foo Mee Har (West Coast GRC)

- Mr Gan Thiam Poh (Ang Mo Kio GRC)

- Mr Patrick Tay (West Coast GRC)

- Miss Cheryl Chan (Fengshan SMC)

- Mr Darryl David (Ang Mo Kio GRC)

- Mr Melvin Yong (Tanjong Pagar GRC)

- Ms K. Thanaletchimi (Nominated MP)
