Boosted by a three-year $10 million investment by DBS Bank, Singapore's new financial centre will come alive with events such as sailing, dragon boating and running.

The DBS sailing programme will bring complimentary sailing to the public on a regular basis, the first of its kind in Singapore. Sailing enthusiasts can set sail in Marina Bay on the last Saturday of every month from April to November.

The Marina Bay Promontory will also host this year's POSB PAssion Run in September. Besides being one of the few runs to cater to children, the event will also have a 3.5km Family Walk, and a Men's and Women's 10km categories.

The highlight of the eight-month long festivities will be the DBS Marina Regatta, a dragon boat competition which will see over 3,000 dragon boaters from close to 100 teams taking part.
