Day 6 of Budget debate: Ministries to debate on spending plans

SINGAPORE - Parliament on Monday (April 11) continues to debate the spending plans of ministries, including the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of National Development.

Last week, Parliament approved the Budget for seven ministries.

Key initiatives that have been announced so far include the Ministry of Education's move to replace the PSLE aggregate score with wide scoring bands, and the Manpower Ministry's announcement that some firms could face stricter rules for Employment Pass approval when hiring foreign professionals.
