Cyclist injured in accident at Brickland Road

SINGAPORE - A cyclist was injured after a collision with a car at a traffic junction in Choa Chu Kang on Tuesday (March 14).

Police said that the accident happened at about 4.30pm at the junction of Brickland Road and Choa Chu Kang Grove.

A 49-year-old man was taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

A video clip of the accident was posted to the Love Cycling SG Facebook page on Wednesday.

It shows the cyclist dashing out in front of the car although the traffic light was in the car's favour.

The cyclist injured his right shoulder and arm, Lianhe Wanbao reported.

Police investigations are ongoing.
