Crooning for charity

The inaugural Shine Singapore charity concert at the Esplanade closing with a six-minute medley of evergreen songs such as Chan Mali Chan and Munneru Valiba sung by a choir of more than 100 children, together with the show's creator, local singer-songwriter Lorraine Tan.

Proceeds from last night's concert went to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. A cheque for $50,000 was presented to SPMF chairman Han Fook Kwang.
