Creative Technology has filed a lawsuit in the United States against Apple and Samsung for alleged patent infringement.

The homegrown graphics and computer sound card maker claimed that certain Apple and Samsung products had infringed 10 of its 3D graphics patents and is seeking an injunction against the companies.

The products in question include Samsung's various Galaxy phones and tablets, and laptops, and various ranges of the Apple iPhone, iPad, iMac and MacBook Pro.

The lawsuit was filed on Monday in the Eastern district of Texas. Texas-based law firms Heim, Payne and Chorush and Susman Godfrey are acting for Creative, which filed the lawsuit via its ZiiLabs media subsidiary.
