SINGAPORE - A 54-year-old woman was found dead in a drain at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on Friday (Nov 25), in a case of suspected murder.
The Singaporean woman is believed to be a cleaner working at the terminal and was found to have injuries on her neck.
There were injuries around her stomach area as well, The Straits Times understands.
Police received a call for assistance at around 9.45am on Friday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics around 10.40am.
When The Straits Times visited the location, near Carpark B at the terminal, the body was in the process of being removed at around 2.15pm.
Investigations are ongoing.
