Ang Han Chunn Dannyn, 35, Lee Shiun Jean, 52, and Teo Boon Hwee, 49, all faced one charge each, under the Women's Charter, of living on the earnings of the women they prostituted.

The trio were arrested during a seven-hour police operation on Tuesday that saw raids carried out at Geylang East Avenue, Kallang Place, Flora Road and Henderson Road.

Five women were arrested, while computers, mobile phones, documents, cameras and clothing apparel were also seized.

The three men have been remanded at the Central Police Division for further investigations. They are scheduled to appear in court again on Oct 22.

Investigations against the remaining suspects are on-going.

Under Section 146 of the Women's Charter, anyone who lives on the earnings of the prostitution of another person can be jailed for up to five years and fined up to $10,000.
