St James Power Station murder: 5th suspect arrested

SINGAPORE - A fifth suspect was arrested on Tuesday (March 14) in connection with a murder that took place at St James Power Station on Sunday (March 12), police said.

Mr Satheesh Kumar Manogaran, 35, was killed at the Sentosa Gateway entertainment venue between 5.45am and 6am on Sunday.

The fifth suspect, who is 22, will be charged in court on Thursday (March 16), police said in a statement.

Shawalludin Sa'adon, a 26-year-old part-time waiter, was charged with murder on Tuesday.

Two more men were charged on Wednesday. They are Muhammad Hisham Hassan, 27 and Muhammad Khalid Kamarudin, 21.

A fourth man, Muhammad Faizal Jamal, 22, was named in court documents and he is still under investigation.
