Police arrest 42-year-old man for allegedly stealing phone, watch and cash

SINGAPORE - A 42-year-old man was arrested on Sept 16 for suspected involvement in a case of theft reported at Taman Jurong.

A report was lodged by a 38-year-old man on Sept 10, stating that his personal belongings, including his mobile phone, watch and cash, were stolen from him in the vicinity of Ho Ching Road.

The suspect will be charged in court on Sept 18 for theft, which is punishable with a jail term of up to three years, or a fine, or with both.
