People sweeping water away from shops in the basement of Parklane Shopping Mall in Selegie Road, after a fire was extinguished by sprinklers yesterday evening. No injuries were reported, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force, which responded to the fire at about 8.15pm, adding that it had involved an exhaust duct in the shopping mall.
