MBS discontinues $10 million casino debt suit against high-rolling tycoon

SINGAPORE - The Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino has dropped a $10 million lawsuit against Australian-Chinese high roller Wang Zhi Cai, bringing to an end a pursuit from Singapore to Sydney over an alleged five-year debt which started in 2013.

A High Court notice of the discontinuance was filed on June 6 by MBS' lawyers from Drew & Napier. There was no order as to costs.
