SINGAPORE - A 60-year-old man has been arrested for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon, said the Singapore Police Force in a media release on Wednesday (May 24).
The Police had acted on a report of two men fighting at Block 278, Bukit Batok East Avenue 3, on Tuesday.
A 55-year-old man was found injured at the scene and was sent to National University Hospital conscious.
After intensive ground enquiries and review of Police camera images in the vicinity, the suspect was arrested at Block 5, Banda Street.
If found guilty of voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon, the suspect will be punished with life imprisonment or imprisonment of up to 15 years, and will also be liable to a fine or caning.
