Man, 27, arrested for performing obscene acts in Yishun area

SINGAPORE - A 27-year-old man suspected of performing obscene acts around the Yishun neighbourhood has been arrested.

Police officers conducted checks on the man after they saw him behaving suspiciously in the early hours of Monday at 12.15am at Yishun Ring Road.

The man was loitering around the Yishun area that night. Police believe the suspect is involved in two other cases of performing obscene acts.

First-time offenders found guilty of committing an obscene act in a public place may be jailed up to three months and fined.
