SINGAPORE - A male body without legs was discovered along Syed Alwi Road on Wednesday.

Police said that they received a call for their assistance at 6.04pm. Officers who responded to the scene were greeted by a bloody luggage bag. Police said that an upper body without both legs was found in the bag.

Eyewitness Woo Shin Kwong, a 57-year-old cleaner who was working nearby, said he saw a middle-aged man attempting to carry the luggage bag and stopped him because he noticed the bag was soaked in blood. He then called the police, and the middle-aged man remained on scene till they arrived.

Police said they are investigating the case as an unnatural death.
