The courts are set to decide whether or not the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and National Parks Board (NParks) can be held liable for the severe head injuries suffered by a rider whose motorcycle slammed into the carcass of a wild boar on a highway.

The family of motorcyclist Vicknesh Morthy is suing both agencies for negligence after he suffered brain damage and was left needing a wheelchair following an accident on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).
