Girl visits morgue to identify bodies of mother and grandmother

SINGAPORE - The teenage daughter of the woman who was found dead with her mother at their Ang Mo Kio flat on Wednesday identified their bodies on Thursday.

Germaine Ng, 17, arrived at the morgue to identify the bodies of her mother, Ms Andrea Tay Su Lin, 51, and her grandmother, Madam Rosaline Lim, 75, on Thursday morning at about 7.40am.

The girl was accompanied by a middle-aged woman and two men. They waved approaching journalists away, declined to be interviewed and headed straight to the forensics office.

When they left at about 10.30am, they hurried back to their black BMW and left quickly.

The bodies of Ms Tay and Madam Lim were found on Wednesday at Block 105, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4. Madam Lim had been stabbed and Ms Tay had fallen out of the kitchen window.

When the Straits Times visited their flat again on 6th floor on Thursday afternoon, blood stains remained in the gap between the gate and the door.
