Fire at coffee shop in Geylang, no one injured

SINGAPORE - A fire broke out at a drinks stall in a coffee shop along Geylang Lorong 15 on Friday morning.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call at 9.50am, and deployed one fire engine, two Red Rhinos and two fire bikes to the scene. The fire was put out using two water jets within 10 minutes.

A woman in her 50s complained about inhaling smoke, but did not want to be sent to the hospital. There is no injury.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, said SCDF.
