Bar brawl at St James Power Station Club on Sunday

SINGAPORE - A bar brawl broke out on the wee hours of Sunday morning at Club Pyramid, a nightspot at St James Power Station, with patrons hurling bottles and club property at each other.

The fight had broken out in the middle of the club, within a large group of party-goers, according to a video of the incident posted on Facebook. Shouts and screams could be heard as other patrons tried frantically to move out of the crossfire.

A police spokesman said they were alerted to the incident at about 4.45am on Sunday morning and that investigations were ongoing.

When contacted, Mr Gordon Foo, coordinating director of operations at St James, said they were assisting the authorities with their investigations.

"(We) cannot comment further while the matter is still under investigation," said Mr Foo.
