SINGAPORE - A 43-year-old man was arrested by police on Monday for suspected loan shark harassment.
On Monday morning at about 7.20am, police had received information that a vehicle parked along Lorong Kilat had been defaced with orange spray paint and had a debtor's note on it.
Officers of the Clementi Police Divison found out who the suspect was, and arrested him along Yuan Ching Road on Tuesday, at about 2.30am.
The man had spray paint, markers and double-sided tape with him.
If found guilty, he could be jailed for up to five years, caned up to six strokes, and fined a maximum of $50,000.
