25-year-old man arrested for suspected break-in at Joo Koon Circle

SINGAPORE - A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in a break-in reported at a company located at Joo Koon Circle.

On Monday (April 11) at about 8.06am, an employee of the company reported a break-in after an assortment of valuables, including a label printer, laptop, hard disk, several bottles of liquor and about $2,100 in cash were stolen from the premises.

Following the report, officers from Jurong Division conducted enquiries and investigations to establish the identity of the suspect.

On Friday at about 3.45 pm, the suspect was arrested at Joo Koon Circle, police said in a news release later that evening.

He will be charged with the offence of housebreaking and theft by night, which carries a maximum prison term of 14 years.
