SINGAPORE - Police have arrested an 18-year-old woman suspected to be involved in a scam where victims were talked into making advanced payments for tickets sold online below market rate.

The tickets were not delivered as promised and the teenager would become uncontactable, said the police in a press release.

She was arrested on Monday in Joo Chiat.

Further investigations revealed that she had made use of bank accounts belonging to other people to receive payments for the tickets.
