SINGAPORE - A 17-year-old man was arrested on Friday for his suspected involvement in two separate cases of molest.

On Jan 29, a 15-year-old girl told police that she had been molested by an unidentified man in a lift at Hougang Ave 8. An hour later, at around 8pm, police said they received another similar report involving a 12-year-old girl in a lift at Hougang Ave 10.

The man was arrested at Hougang Avenue 8 on Friday at about 12.30am.

Police urged the public to be alert to suspicious characters, not to enter the lift with a stranger, and if molested, to immediately shout for help.
