SINGAPORE - Seventeen people were arrested for drug-related offences after a 16-hour operation on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The blitz by the Ang Mo Kio Police Division, Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement "F" Division and the Singapore Civil Defence Force was launched at 9.30am on Tuesday, the three agencies said in a joint statement on Thursday.
Officers conducted checks at public entertainment spots and public housing estates in Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Yishun and Sembawang. They seized drugs including one straw of Heroin, two packets of Ice and two tablets of Erimin-5.
Investigations are ongoing.
