Country club gives $150,000 to pocket money fund

The general manager of Singapore Island Country Club, Mr Sylvan Braberry (right), handing over a $150,000 cheque to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. Managing Editor (English & Malay Newspapers Division) Han Fook Kwang received the cheque on behalf of the fund. Club members showed their support by raising $1,302,849 in three months to benefit 53 charities as part of the 41st May Day Charity 2012 fund-raising initiatives.
