The Singapore Zoo's only polar bear, Inuka, preparing to eat a watermelon husk filled with fruits - the highlight of its icy birthday treat yesterday.
The treat, made of ice blocks, whipped cream and fruits, marks its 25th birthday on Dec 26. To kick off a 10-day bash, a photo exhibition about the Arctic was launched near Inuka's living area yesterday
It highlights the threat climate change poses to the Arctic ecosystems and its inhabitants, including the polar bear.
