The lines started noticeably later this time around as City Harvest Church members started streaming in after 6am for the third tranche of the ongoing trial involving six of their leaders on Monday morning.
In the first two tranches, members had turned up to queue for passes to observe court proceedings outside the Subordinate Courts from as early as the night before.
But they turned up later on Monday since the courts will be distributing passes for both the morning and afternoon sessions only at 7.15am.
"We are always praying for our leaders and we are here to show them support," said the first in line, Mr I.P Song, 31, who works in the airline industry.
There were about 18 people in the queue at about 6.20 am.
Church founder Kong Hee and five of his deputies are accused of misusing millions of dollars belonging to the church. They face varying counts of criminal breach of trust. First to take the stand is prosecution witness Tiang Yii, an auditor with Baker Tilly - the church's external audit firm.
