Children's art on tissue boxes raises more than $22,000 for needy students

SINGAPORE - More than $22,000 was raised by Tipex, the firm behind popular tissue brand Beautex, in a donation drive for the Straits Times Pocket Money Fund.

Special edition tissue boxes, which feature winning artwork from a children's drawing competition held in June, were sold in supermarkets and convenience stores here between August and November.

For every pack of five tissue boxes, the charity gets $0.20.

This is the sixth year the company has organised the fund-raising drive.
