SINGAPORE - A car was caught on camera hitting a Traffic Police (TP) car and an enforcement motorcycle on Thursday (Dec 10) night on the Tampines Expressway (TPE) towards Pan-Island Expressway.

The incident happened at around 10.30pm and was captured by the camera of a vehicle in the middle lane. The footage showed a car speeding on the first lane before it collided into the rear of a TP car and an enforcement motorcycle used by the auxiliary police.

The car was seen attempting to brake but was unable to stop in time.

The TP car and the motorcycle were attending to an accident that occurred earlier at 9.30pm.

The male car driver and two male TP officers sustained minor injuries and were sent to Changi General Hospital, according to a police spokesman.

Police investigations are ongoing.
