SINGAPORE - An accident involving two cars along Braddell Road at around 3.15pm on Wednesday (March 2) left one car overturned and led to a traffic snarl along the Lornie viaduct.

No injuries were reported, police said. The accident occurred at Braddell Road towards Bartley Road East before the Central Expressway.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) sent an ambulance to the scene at about 3.20pm.

A Chinese man in his 60s refused to be taken to the hospital, the SCDF said.

When The Straits Times visited the site at 4.50pm, the second car was being towed away.

The accident resulted in a minor oil spill. An SCDF fire engine arrived at the scene at 4.57pm and flushed the oil away with biosolvents and a water jet.
