Breaking fast in harmony

More than 100 people of various faiths, including leaders of nine major religions in Singapore, gathered to break fast at the headquarters of the Muslim Kidney Action Association in Telok Kurau yesterday evening.

President of the association Ameerali Abdeali, 64, helped serve dates to the guests to break fast.

The group discussed the importance of maintaining interfaith harmony in Singapore.
