An eight-year-old boy was found dead at the foot of a HDB block just after midnight on Sunday.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said they received a call from a member of the public around 12.16 am and an ambulance was sent down to Block 934, Tampines Street 91.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating.
