The body of undergraduate Goh Chuan Kiet who went missing on Sunday afternoon in the sea off Changi, has been recovered.

Without naming Mr Goh, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore said in a statement on Wednesday that a body was found on Tuesday at about 6.20pm near Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. "The body is established to be that of the male Singaporean who went missing in the waters off the National Service Resort & Country Club" on Sunday.

The 23-year-old was paddle-boarding with his schoolmates from SIM Global Education's windsurfing club at Changi on Sunday when he suddenly disappeared. The board and paddle he was using were retrieved by rescuers and fishermen within the day, but there were still no signs of Mr Goh as of Tuesday as search efforts entered its third night.
