A WhatsApp message that encouraged army commanders to share positive Facebook posts about the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and national service after actor Aloysius Pang's death was sent by the Army Information Centre (AIC).
The Ministry of Defence (Mindef) confirmed this in response to queries from The Straits Times over a message that emerged in the wake of the actor's death on Jan 23.
