When it comes to fund-raising, Marina Bay Sands (MBS) has it licked. The hotel and shopping mall yesterday launched its second Scoops of Hope event, selling ice cream created by celebrity chefs in aid of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. All of its restaurants have contributed flavours. There was also a special workshop and tasting session held by MBS executive chef Christopher Christie and executive pastry chef Anthony Poh (right) for beneficiaries of the fund. Scoops of Hope is a pop-up ice cream store, which opened for the first time last year. This year, the store at The Shoppes B2 will be open until July 31.
