Madam Wang Qingzhen, 72, showing off her moves as one of 10 "Golden Girls" - dancers aged between 60 and 77 from the Touch Seniors Activity Centre.

The women, all good sports, were taking part in the inaugural Touch Charity Ball organised by Touch Community Services and endorsed by Hospitality Alliance Singapore.

Close to $500,000 was raised at the charity event held at Resorts World Sentosa yesterday. The money will go towards supporting two of the charity's eldercare programmes - home care and senior activities centre. More than 2,500 senior citizens under the charity's aid will benefit from the fund-raising.
