Mr Lim was among some 400 seniors who took part in the event organised by Care Corner Seniors Services, an affiliate company of the charity agency Care Corner Singapore. The carnival was called The Great Toa Payoh City to evoke memories of the old Great World Amusement Park in Kim Seng Road, which many of the visitors would remember, said the charity. Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, who is an MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, was guest of honour.
