The British designer, who also worked with Courts to design a piece of Singapore-inspired furniture as part of SG50 celebrations, said: "I can't wait to take British design farther afield with Courts, as well as stretch my creative abilities to pull together a range that will resonate with consumers in Singapore to bring vibrancy and style into their homes."

ST170 Treats is a year-long programme to mark The Straits Times' 170th anniversary. It has drawn 56,000 entries since its launch in February.

To take part, readers can log on to 1845.straitstimes.com from 9am today to noon on May 18, and upload an image of their living room and a brief description of their dream living room.

The face-to-face session with Mr Llewelyn-Bowen will take place on May 27.
