3 injured in pile-up along Tampines Expressway

SINGAPORE - Three people ended up in hospital after a pile-up along Tampines Expressway on Thursday (Oct 26).

The accident involved three motorcycles, a car and two taxis, said the police.

According to in-car camera footage posted on Facebook page Roads.sg on Sunday, the pile-up started when a red Honda was unable to brake in time, crashing into the back of a CityCab taxi.

Two motorcyclists were also involved in the pile-up, while one other lost his balance.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for ambulance assistance at around 8.50am, along TPE towards Changi Airport before the Elias Road exit.

Three people were taken conscious to Changi General Hospital, said a police spokesman.
