SINGAPORE - A 22-year-old man died after reportedly jumping out of a taxi along Bedok Reservoir Road in the wee hours of Saturday (June 10).

The Straits Times understands that he was with a woman in the taxi when the incident occurred.

He reportedly jumped out of the cab after getting into a dispute with the woman, Lianhe Wanbao said in a report on Saturday.

The police told ST that they were alerted to an incident along Bedok Reservoir Road at 4.04am on Saturday.

"A 22-year-old man was taken unconscious to Changi General Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead," said the police spokesman.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted at 4.10am to the incident at the junction of Bedok North Road and Bedok Reservoir Road, and took one man to CGH.

The police are investigating the unnatural death.
