$200,000 sponsorship to help elderly under Bright Homes programme

Low income seniors have been given a boost by an additional $200,000 sponsorship under the Bright Homes Programme.

Most of the seniors under this programme live alone in public rental flats and have no next-of-kin. Volunteers engage the elderly on a regular basis to help prevent social isolation.

The programme, now known as the FairPrice Foundation-Central Singapore Bright Homes Programme, also assists seniors with regular spring cleaning sessions conducted by our volunteers.

The title sponsorship was announced on Monday at Central Singapore CDC's appreciation lunch for corporate partners and held at the The Arts House.
