107 suspected drug offenders nabbed in three-day islandwide bust

The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) and the police nabbed 107 suspected drug offenders and seized about 0.66kg of heroin, 0.024kg of Ice and small amounts of drugs such as Ketamine, Erimin-5 and Ecstasy tablets.

The three-day islandwide operation started on Tuesday, The offenders were arrested for drug offences that include consumption, drug possession and trafficking.

As part of operations at a mall on Tuesday, CNB officers arrested a 41-year-old Singaporean man believed to be involved in trafficking heroin.

A 23-year-old Malaysian man was also arrested and about 0.498kg of heroin estimated to be worth about $52,000 was recovered during the operation.
