The Sir Stamford Raffles statue next to the Singapore River at Boat Quay looks like it is disappearing, thanks to some dark grey outdoor acrylic paint. The optical illusion was created with the help of local artist Teng Kai Wei in commemoration of the Singapore Bicentennial this year.
