10-minute delay on Circle Line due to train fault

A train fault delayed service on a section of the Circle Line by 10 minutes Friday morning.

In a statement, operator SMRT said a train heading towards HarbourFront experienced a fault at Pasir Panjang station at about 9.20am. The fault was cleared at about 9.30am.

This resulted in additional travelling time for commuters heading in that direction, added the statement. SMRT apologised for the inconvenience caused.

The Circle Line three-year old saw service delays earlier this week when a track fault at Paya Lebar led to longer journeys for commuters travelling towards HarbourFront.
