Beware 'parent alienation syndrome'
WHILE I agree that many fathers try to evade their duty and vigorous enforcement is necessary in many cases, I have to highlight that there are other, more damaging actions to children of a marriage, besides denial of financial support.

'Parent alienation' is one of the more traumatic scenarios for children, in which one parent is alienated. Brainwashing and manipulating children by the other parent achieve this. The long-term effects on a young mind are devastating.

Most fathers do exercise their financial duty, but many are left behind by mothers who act out their hatred on an innocent child.

If the focus was more on 'parent alienation syndrome', perhaps fewer children would grow up with difficulties in life, and fewer mothers would have to enforce payments from fathers.
