Medisave to pay visiting medical experts allowed, subject to rules

| MR PATRICK Sio suggested on Thursday that the Ministry of Health 'Allow Medisave for visiting medical experts' to treat Singaporeans in Singapore. This is allowed, so long as the visiting medical experts are licensed to practise here, subject to the usual Medisave rules and regulations. We note Mr Sio's support of the other idea of allowing Medisave to be used for elective treatment overseas.
