Work on the children's menus
'Most restaurants and buffets offer only unhealthy, deep-fried and sugary foods such as chicken nuggets, fries, fish and chips and ice cream under their children's menus.'

MS BOEY SHEE LYE, mother of two young children, who says that while the effort by the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) to promote healthier options at fast-food restaurants is a step in the right direction, it is not enough. As most restaurants and buffets offer unhealthy food for children, she usually orders full-size, healthier meals from the regular menu for her kids. But this is costly and wasteful as they cannot finish the adult servings. She says Case should look into getting all restaurants to either include healthier options in their children's menus or allow half-size portions for children.
