Problem of tarnished items solved: S'pore Mint

| I THANK Ms Liow Gwee Cheng for her letter on Friday, 'Items from Singapore Mint tarnished'.
While the Singapore Mint prides itself on exercising stringent checks to ensure the good of our retail products, there are instances where the quality of products falls short of the guarantee provided by our suppliers. Nevertheless, in line with our standing customer service policy, should there be any problem with our products, we will look into the matter with the customer concerned to resolve the matter. We regret that in this case, our counter staff encountered an administrative issue which meant we were unable to resolve the matter adequately with Ms Liow. We have since contacted her regarding the problem and have settled the matter amicably. Jason Chen | |
