Drop cash-in machine's confusing step
| I REFER to the letter, 'ATM receipt showed $600 but OCBC credits $500' (ST, Feb7). Unlike POSB and DBS Bank's cash-in machines, OCBC Bank's machines have an extra step to key in the amount the customer intends to deposit.
This step is unnecessary and confusing. Even without this step, if the amount shown after the machine has counted the notes is not correct, one can choose to take back the money by using the 'cancel' button.
