FIREFIGHTERS MADE BOY'S DAY

I WOULD like to thank Sergeant Jimmy Woon and all the firefighters from the Alexandra Fire Station for accommodating our request to visit the station about two weeks ago.

They took the time and effort to show my four-year-old son Dominic what a firefighter does. My boy was the happiest 'firefighter' that day!

GOOD SAMARITANS HELPED INJURED MUM

WE WISH to say a big 'thank you' to the two men and women who went to my mother's aid on Jan1, when she had a fall at Jalan Rajah.

TOUCHED BY CABBY'S CARING ACT

ON JAN11 at about 4.30pm, my disabled mother left her walking stick in a taxi when she alighted at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital for her appointment.

About 20 minutes later, however, the Trans-Cab driver drove back to the hospital and managed to return the walking stick to her after asking the staff where she was. I would like to thank the caring cabby for his good deed.

KUDOS TO HONEST TAXI DRIVER

ON JAN5, my cousin from Bangkok, my brother and I took a taxi (SHC3756Y) at around 10pm, but my brother inadvertently left his cellphone behind.

Later, cabby A. Razak drove all the way back to our apartment at 11pm to return the phone. We are grateful to him for taking the trouble and for his honesty, which has greatly impressed my Bangkok cousin.

CABBY TOOK TROUBLE TO RETURN FOLDER

MY GIRLFRIEND and I took a CityCab home on Jan12 but left a folder behind in the taxi.

We would like to thank taxi driver Mun Soi Yue for taking the trouble to return the folder to us on the same day.
